Dauin – the town
We had a chance to explore a bit of the town of Dauin and found it to be a pretty community as long as the areas off the National Highway are concerned. The National Highway without trees as a wide concrete and asphalt ribbon is just ugly. There the colorful city hall with the plaza, the school and the just renovated old church looks very pretty. If then still the new market finished and the construction fence dismantled.
Perhaps a budget can be found for a statue of Rizal, as most places in the Philippines have.
I would like to praise the two young church employees who let me into the closed church for filming, showed me everything and in the end took me up to the church tower. Thank you, that was a wonderful experience.
All this was recorded in a video of mine with the title
