The children were going to the neighboring Barangay Bulak, in Dauin, Negros Oriental on the evening of Oct. 31. There, a horror night was announced for the time between 7 pm and midnight.

When we arrived there, not many people were there yet and so we had time to visit and walk around the pacour without monsters. It was absolutely dark here and they had built in some surprises along the way. A small pit had been dug, closed with an old mattress and covered with leaves. There later stood a tall white woman and you stepped into the void when you stepped on the mattress and fell softly and gently into the leaves. The shrieking was great. Another trap was a low tree root, here there was some light from the little and big ghosts dancing around. Out of the dark nothingness several zombies with chainsaws rushed at the visitors and tried to saw off their legs.

This event was really nice and well organized and there must have been a lot of small and big extras busy, who disappeared again and again in the darkness, only to reappear shortly afterwards.

It was a fantastic evening for the kids, as well as for us.
