Dumaguete, formally City of Dumaguete and regularly alluded to as Dumaguete City, is a component city in the Philippines. It is the capital of the province of Negros Oriental. Having an aggregate of 131,377 occupants starting at 2015 statistics, it is the most populous city in the region. The city is named “The City of Gentle People“.
